How to Make Valentine M&M Cookies
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Whisk together flour, cornstarch, and baking soda in another bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and Valentine M&M's gently.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are soft.
  9. Press additional M&M's on top right after pulling the cookies from the oven.
  10. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
