How to Make Valentine M&M Cookie Bars
  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (162°C) and prepare a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
  2. Cream together 1 cup of softened butter, 1 cup of brown sugar, and 3/4 cup of white sugar until smooth.
  3. Incorporate 2 eggs one at a time and then add 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together 3 cups of all-purpose flour and 1 teaspoon of baking soda and mix into the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1 cup of Valentine M&M's.
  6. Spread the dough evenly into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Press extra chocolate chips and M&M's on top immediately after baking.
