How to Make Shrimp Cobb Salad
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine olive oil, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, minced shallot, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth and emulsified, then set aside to let the flavors meld.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the prepared shrimp with garlic powder and paprika. Cook until the shrimp turn pink and opaque, about 3-5 minutes, ensuring they're tender and juicy.
- On a large serving platter or in a bowl, start with a bed of chopped romaine lettuce. Neatly arrange the hard-boiled egg quarters, crispy bacon, sautéed shrimp, halved tomatoes, diced avocado, and crumbled blue cheese on top.
- Just before you serve, generously drizzle the creamy dressing over the colorful salad. Toss gently to allow the flavors to combine, or serve it as is for a lovely presentation.
