How to Make Rice Balls
- Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Combine the rinsed rice and water in a pot. Bring to a boil then cover and reduce heat for 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it sit covered for 10 minutes. Fluff the rice and sprinkle in salt.
- Fold in the chopped vegetables evenly throughout the rice.
- Wet your hands slightly and scoop about 2 tablespoons of rice into your palm. Mold it into a ball.
- Wrap with nori strips if desired and serve with soy sauce.
