Method
 

How to Make Puppy Chow
  1. Place the semi-sweet chocolate chips, peanut butter, and unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat them in 30-second intervals, stirring until fully melted and smooth.
  2. Once melted, stir in the vanilla extract to infuse a sweet aroma.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, pour the Rice Chex cereal.
  4. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the cereal, stirring gently until evenly coated.
  5. Transfer the coated cereal to a gallon-sized Ziploc bag.
  6. Add powdered sugar to the bag, seal it tightly, and shake until coated.
  7. Spread the mixture onto a lined baking sheet and let it cool for about 10 minutes.
  8. Top with chocolate-covered candies and sprinkle with freeze-dried strawberries.
