Making the Patties
- Combine the sweetened condensed milk, peppermint extract, and vanilla extract in a mixer bowl. Blend until well incorporated.
- Gradually add half of the powdered sugar to the mixer while it's running, mixing until smooth.
- Adjust the dough by adding more powdered sugar if necessary for the right consistency.
- Roll out the dough onto a surface dusted with powdered sugar until it’s about 1/2 inch thick.
- Cut out small circles using a cookie cutter and place them on a parchment-lined tray. Chill in the freezer for 20 minutes.
- Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl at 30-second intervals, stirring in between.
- Dip each chilled round into the melted chocolate, allowing the excess to drip off.
- Decorate with holiday sprinkles right after dipping. Let set on a wire rack or parchment paper.
