- Begin by creaming the creamy peanut butter and softened butter in a bowl until smooth and well-combined.
- Gradually mix in the powdered sugar, stirring until it’s fully incorporated.
- Gently fold in the slightly crushed Rice Krispies until combined.
- Scoop out the mixture and roll it into bite-sized balls. Place them on a tray and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes until firm.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips with the vegetable shortening, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- Take each chilled ball and dip it into the melted chocolate, covering it completely.
- Return the dipped balls to the refrigerator and chill until the chocolate sets, about 30 minutes more.
