How to Make M&M’s Christmas Holiday Blondies
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Take an 8×8 inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened unsalted butter and packed brown sugar in a bowl until fluffy and light—about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the large egg and egg yolk into the mixture. Pour in the vanilla extract and mix everything together for at least three minutes until airy.
- Fold in the all-purpose flour and salt gently with a spatula until just combined.
- Stir in the Christmas M&M's and optional chocolate chips, mixing gently.
- Spread the batter evenly in your prepared baking pan and bake for about 17 minutes.
- Cool completely in the pan before slicing into 16 squares.
