Preparation
- Preheat the oven according to the instructions on your pie crust package.
- Cook the sweet potatoes by boiling or baking them until tender, about 30-40 minutes; then peel and mash.
- Combine the mashed sweet potatoes, melted butter, brown sugar, evaporated milk, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, clove, and salt in a mixing bowl. Mix until smooth.
- Pour the filling into the premade pie crusts, distributing it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes or until the filling is set.
- Top the pies with mini marshmallows and crushed candied pecans right after removing them from the oven.
- Broil the pies on high for a few minutes until the marshmallows turn golden brown.
- Cool the pies for at least 15 minutes before serving.
