Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven according to the instructions on your pie crust package.
  2. Cook the sweet potatoes by boiling or baking them until tender, about 30-40 minutes; then peel and mash.
  3. Combine the mashed sweet potatoes, melted butter, brown sugar, evaporated milk, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, clove, and salt in a mixing bowl. Mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the filling into the premade pie crusts, distributing it evenly.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes or until the filling is set.
  6. Top the pies with mini marshmallows and crushed candied pecans right after removing them from the oven.
  7. Broil the pies on high for a few minutes until the marshmallows turn golden brown.
  8. Cool the pies for at least 15 minutes before serving.
