How to Make Meat Sauce
- Prep your ingredients by chopping the onion and mincing the garlic.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, pour in the extra virgin olive oil. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes. Then, add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, about 7 minutes.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, dried oregano, salt, and pepper, mixing well.
- Pour the red wine into the pan and let it simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes.
- Serve the meat sauce over your preferred pasta and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
