How to Make Meat Sauce
  1. Prep your ingredients by chopping the onion and mincing the garlic.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, pour in the extra virgin olive oil. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes. Then, add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, about 7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the diced tomatoes, dried oregano, salt, and pepper, mixing well.
  5. Pour the red wine into the pan and let it simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes.
  6. Serve the meat sauce over your preferred pasta and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
