How to Make Jello Parfait
  1. Bloom the Gelatin: Start by mixing the unflavored gelatin with warm water in a bowl. Allow it to bloom for 5 minutes until it softens and swells, creating the perfect base for your layers.
  2. Dissolve the Gelatin: Pour boiling water over the bloomed gelatin, stirring until fully dissolved. Separate the mixture into two bowls, one for the red layer and one for the pink layer, adding a few drops of food coloring to each.
  3. Create the Red Layer: Take one bowl of dissolved gelatin and pour it into your angled glass cups, filling them about a third of the way. Chill the glasses for 45 minutes in the refrigerator until the layer is set but not too firm.
  4. Mix in Creamy Base: Combine the sweetened condensed milk with the remaining dissolved gelatin. This creamy mixture will form the dreamy white layer; gently pour it over the set red layer until the cups are nearly full.
  5. Chill Again: Allow the glasses to chill again for 2 hours, ensuring the creamy layer is fully set. Afterward, prepare the last layer with the second bowl of dissolved gelatin tinted pink.
  6. Top and Serve: Once the pink layer has chilled and set, add a generous dollop of whipped cream on top and garnish with your favorite sprinkles or fresh berries for a delightful finish.
