How to Make Italian Spinach Pizza
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet or pizza pan.
- In a skillet, brown the Italian sausage over medium heat until fully cooked and crumbled. Drain any excess fat.
- In the same skillet, add a drizzle of olive oil and toss in the thawed, drained spinach along with onion powder, salt, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and black pepper. Sauté for 3–5 minutes until warm.
- Roll out the thawed bread dough on a floured surface until it fits your prepared baking sheet. Transfer it without tearing.
- Spread the cooked sausage evenly over the dough, followed by the sautéed spinach mixture.
- Top with sliced provolone, shredded mozzarella, and grated Parmesan. Scatter tomatoes on top if using.
- Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 20–25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
- Once baked, sprinkle fresh basil and additional grated Parmesan on top before slicing.

Notes
Thaw and drain spinach to prevent a soggy crust. Balance toppings for even cooking. Bake until cheese is bubbly and crust is golden brown.
