Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, parsley, and egg. Stir gently until just combined.
- Roll the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter, and place them evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until they turn golden brown and are cooked through.
- Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add crushed tomatoes, oregano, and basil, and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Gently combine the baked meatballs into the simmering sauce for an additional five minutes.
