How to Make Homemade Pizza Dough
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, active dry yeast, and honey or sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until bubbly.
- Gently stir in salt and olive oil. Gradually incorporate half of the bread flour, mixing until lumpy.
- Continue to add remaining flour until the dough is sticky but manageable, pulling away from the sides of the bowl.
- Knead on a floured surface for about 6 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Lightly grease a bowl and the dough, cover, and let rise for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.

Notes
Herbs can be added for extra flavor. Ensure water is warm (not hot) to activate yeast effectively. Check dough at the one-hour mark during rising.
