How to Make Dried Cherry Scones

- Whisk together in a large bowl the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and kosher salt.
- Incorporate the chilled butter into the flour mixture.
- Add the whole milk and dried cherries to the mixture. Stir just until everything is combined.
- Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and gently press it into a circle that's about 1 inch thick.
- Cut out your scones using a heart-shaped cookie cutter.
- Arrange the scones on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush the tops with egg or cream.
- Bake for approximately 25 minutes, or until they become lightly golden brown.
