Ingredients
  

Biscotti Dough
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup crushed Red Hots cinnamon candies star ingredient

Method
 

Baking Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the butter, sugar, salt, vanilla, and baking powder in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add eggs one at a time to the butter mixture, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Gradually mix in the all-purpose flour and fold in the crushed Red Hots cinnamon candies.
  5. Shape the dough into two logs on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake the logs in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes.
  7. Cool for 5 minutes on the pan before transferring them to a cutting board.
  8. Slice the logs into ½"-¾" pieces using a sharp knife and arrange them back on the baking sheet.
  9. Bake again at 325°F (163°C) for another 20-25 minutes until crisp.
  10. Melt the white chocolate and drizzle it over your cooled biscotti.
  11. While the chocolate is still warm, sprinkle with colorful sprinkles.
