  • 2 pounds flank steak a tender cut that absorbs marinades beautifully
  • 0.5 cups orange or lime juice adds zesty brightness

  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar introduces a slight tang
  • 0.25 cups cilantro chopped, adds freshness
  • 0.5 tsp cayenne pepper for a touch of heat
  • 6 cloves garlic minced, infuses aromatic flavor
  • 0.25 small onion chopped, enhances sweetness
  • 2 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 tsp salt enhances flavors
  • 1 tsp cumin adds warm, earthy flavor
  • 2 tbsp olive oil adds richness
For the Grill
  • 6-8 sweet mini peppers halved, mild sweetness when grilled
  • 2-3 fresh jalapeno peppers halved, added heat
  • 1-2 onions sliced into ½” thick rounds

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Blend marinade: Combine the juice, Worcestershire sauce, white wine vinegar, cilantro, cayenne pepper, garlic, onion, black pepper, salt, cumin, and olive oil in a blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Marinate the steak: Place the flank steak in a large resealable bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal tightly and refrigerate for anywhere from 5 to 24 hours.
  3. Preheat the grill: Set your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the steak and veggies: Grill them for about 10-12 minutes, flipping every 3 minutes for even cooking.
  5. Rest and slice: Once done, let the steak rest for 10 minutes. Then, slice against the grain.
