How to Make Candy Cane Chex Mix
  1. Pour Rice Chex cereal into a large bowl. This crunchy base is essential.
  2. Melt the almond bark using a microwave or double boiler. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. Add optional peppermint oil to the melted almond bark.
  4. Pour the melted almond bark over the Rice Chex and mix gently.
  5. Sprinkle crushed candy canes over the mixture and stir.
  6. Spread the mixture onto wax or parchment paper to cool and set for about 10 minutes.
