Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease your baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
- Prepare the green beans by draining canned beans or thawing and drying frozen beans.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mushroom soup, milk, black pepper, and soy sauce until smooth.
- Fold in the green beans and two-thirds of the crispy fried onions.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until bubbly.
- Sprinkle the remaining crispy fried onions over the top.
- Return to the oven and bake an additional 5-10 minutes until the onions are golden brown.
- Allow the casserole to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
