Ingredients
  

For the Casserole
  • 1 can Campbell's condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup Milk Use whole milk for extra richness.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground black pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 2 cups Green beans Fresh, frozen, or canned.
For the Topping
  • 1 cup Crispy fried onions Reserve half for topping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease your baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  3. Prepare the green beans by draining canned beans or thawing and drying frozen beans.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mushroom soup, milk, black pepper, and soy sauce until smooth.
  5. Fold in the green beans and two-thirds of the crispy fried onions.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  7. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until bubbly.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining crispy fried onions over the top.
  9. Return to the oven and bake an additional 5-10 minutes until the onions are golden brown.
  10. Allow the casserole to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
