Ingredients
  

For the Croissants
  • 6 pieces buttery croissants flaky vessel for fillings
  • 18 slices deli ham can substitute with turkey or chicken
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese Gruyère is a great substitute
For the Glaze
  • 5 tablespoons salted butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard adds a zesty kick
  • 2.5 teaspoons poppy seeds optional
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce soy sauce as a substitute
  • 0.25 teaspoon onion powder or fresh onion for more bite

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Prepare a 9×13 inch baking dish by spraying it with nonstick spray.
  2. Slice each croissant in half lengthwise. Arrange the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Layer on the fillings! Place 2 slices of deli ham and 1 slice of Swiss cheese on each croissant half. Top each with another slice of ham.
  4. Mix together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, poppy seeds, Worcestershire sauce, and onion powder in a bowl until well combined.
  5. Brush the butter mixture generously over each croissant top. Let them sit for 5 minutes.
  6. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 18 minutes. Then, remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 5-6 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!
