How to Make Bacon Wrapped Dates with Goat Cheese
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Cut the bacon slices into thirds.
  3. Mix brown sugar, ancho chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder in a small bowl.
  4. Prepare each date by prying it open slightly.
  5. Stuff each date with about ½ teaspoon of goat cheese.
  6. Wrap each stuffed date with a slice of bacon and secure it with a toothpick.
  7. Roll in the spice mixture for coating.
  8. Bake on a lined baking sheet for about 18 minutes until the bacon is crispy and golden brown.
  9. Drizzle with hot honey before serving.
